EXPECTATIONS

• Arrive to class on time and be in your seat as soon as the bell rings.
• Once you are in the room, stay in the room.
• Be respectful of your fellow students and adults in the room.
• Bring all materials and supplies (assignments, planner, books, folders, paper, papers, etc.) to class.
• Compositions must be in cursive or word processed.
• Participate in class and always try to do your best.
• Write homework assignments in planner before leaving the classroom.

HOMEWORK POLICY

Students are expected to hand in their work on time. If work is not completed on time, parents will be informed through a pink slip. The student must return the pink homework slip, with a parent's signature, along with the completed assignment the next day. If a signature is not obtained, the student will serve a detention. If the assignment is not returned the next day, a zero will be issued.

Homework can be accessed through the homework hotline. The homework hotline telephone number is 271-1749. I usually update the homework hotline after school each day.

SNACKS

The sixth grade lunch period begins at 12:25 P.M. Since we begin our day early, I feel it would be beneficial for the students to have a nutritious snack around 10:15 A.M. I encourage you to send a snack with your child daily.
