The school year has been going great. The sixth grade students have really been enjoying their first year in the new wing at Eisenhower. We are looking forward to continued success throughout the year. In order for the year to run smoothly, we have expectations for all of our students.

Students are expected to hand in their homework on time. In addition to reinforcing concepts covered during the school day, homework completion teaches the child responsibility, time management and initiative.

All students should have a planner to help them organize their work. Students should carry their planners with them throughout the school day and write down their daily assignments. Parents can refer to the planner each night to check on homework assignments. Homework can also be accessed through the homework hotline.

Since our day commences early but our lunch period doesn't begin until 12:25 p.m., we felt it would be beneficial for students to have a nutritious snack around 10:15 a.m. We encourage you to send a healthy snack with your child daily.

If you have any questions concerning your child, please contact us by phone or send us a quick e-mail message. If you would like to schedule a meeting with us, our team meets daily from 9:30 a.m. until 10:10 a.m.
